This was in a western history class. Not black studies or something where it would kind of make sense. We were asked to come to the front of the room, introduce ourselves and describe #1. What makes you hopeful that we are moving past racism, and #2. What reminds you that there’s a long way left to go.
Most of the students listed Obama’s re-election for #1. and the backlash against it as #2. When my turn rolled around I did that moment of deliberation in my head where I decided whether I’m going to go along to get along or stir the shit and accept the consequences.
“What makes me hopeful that we are moving past racism are the hundreds of organizations created and run by white people” (class frowns) “…which fight white racism against blacks” (they look relieved, and smile)
“What reminds me that there’s a long way left to go is that there are no organizations created and run by blacks that fight black racism against whites.”
Four people in the front row immediately stood up and began shouting something like “racism is privilege plus power” while black students near the back milled about, sort of half-up from their seats as if deciding whether to kick my ass. I am now suspended. Advice would be welcomed.
lit-lizzy-deactivated20171130 asked: I'd call you a self-centered prick, but I might be accused of being a feminist, or an atheist, or a "trannie" or a "faggot." But I don't give two shits and as your description clearly states, you are most certainly a fuck-up.
Because Feminists are a product of a leftist social agenda which has been plaguing the world for the past half–century or so: Cultural Marxism. —And, it needs to be stopped.
